Puxi Grade 2 Native Chinese: Beautiful Autumn Leaves Bring Amazing Clipart Works

During the national holiday, Puxi grade 2 native Chinese students finished a creative Chinese project by using the beautiful autumn leaves. Afterwards they presented their artwork in Chinese show-and-tell class on October 12.

Every piece of artwork matches the theme of autumn. Some students made the Sunflower by Van Gogh, some made a colorful parrot or a peacock spreading its tail, and others even made a 3D project to show the autumn harvest scenery. The imagination and creativity of the students surprised the teachers.

Beyond talking about their themes and the reason they chose it, students also introduced their materials, the whole work process, and what they learned.

After this class, teachers led the students to practice writing by ending with “… in autumn”. This Chinese activity motivated students to imagine and create as well as become closer to nature. They also practiced their oral and written Chinese in the process.
