High School Math: AP Statistics Seminar

On October 10th, the International Division High School Math faculty held the first AP Statistics seminar in the Xianmian Building. Following the first IB and AP Calculus seminar this semester, this is part of an ongoing series of professional development activities for teachers.

Firstly, Ms. Wang Menglei, a new teacher of AP Statistics this year, shared her teaching experience so far. Other experienced teachers gave her plenty of advice accordingly. Next, the teachers discussed on possible adjustments that could be made to in-class interaction and exercise. In the end, an analysis of the last AP Statistics exam scores was made and future action was proposed.
