Grades 5-6: Grade Assembly

The first 5th and 6th grade assembly was successfully held on Saturday, the 29th of September.

The first part of the meeting covered the charity carnival orientation. This will be the first time that SHSID will cooperate with the East Shanghai High School throughout all three parts of the charity fair; including the fair, the concert, and the sports meet. In addition, the 30-second Teachers’ Charity Sports Meet will also be a blast!

After the introduction of the wonderful charity carnival, we talked about the SMART goal setting system which students learnt in Youth Development course. Our Director, Mr. Shen then helped students review how to create SMART goals. Everyone was glad to see that they could set goals online and see their achievements at any time. Teachers believe this new change will visualize goal setting and act as a bridge between parents, teachers and students.
