Pudong Grade 3: Fire Drill

As one of the highlights of this month, the teachers of SHSID’s Pudong Campus have put a lot of emphasis on fire safety. On Sep. 29, an unexpected fire drill was planned by the teachers. Suddenly, the hallway was filled by smoke, and the alarm rang. The 3rd grade students lined up immediately according to their teachers’ directions. They walked in neat lines and covered their mouths to keep them safe from the smoke. No one ran and no one was shoved. They followed the teachers and walked quickly. Because the smoke felt so real, there were some students who asked if there was a real fire in our building.
