Grade 9: Robotics Competition Lecture

In the morning of Saturday September 28, students from Grade 9 went to the Xianmian Annex auditorium to listen to a lecture regarding the FIRST Robotics competition. First, Jason Fan explained the procedure and the competition itself, covering the history of FIRST Robotics Competition, it’s applications in college application, and the life lessons that competitors learn along the way. Next, the robot used by team 6803 in the 2018 competition was showcased to the students, and was piloted by many enthusiastic members of the audience. It was a fruitful session, and all the students left with much information gained about the FIRST Robotics Competition.
