Puxi Grade 1: Story Moms

Story Moms is always one the most popular activities for primary students in SHSID. Every month, one story mom comes to visit the primary students in SHSID and tell them a wonderful story. On September 26th during PG class, all the first graders welcomed their first story mom for this semester. This time the story mom read to the students an interesting and significant story, I Don’t Know Who I Am.

Every student enjoyed being told this wonderful story. The story moms helped the students realize the message in the story: how to regard themselves in an appreciative way, which is an important lifelong issue for everybody. The story moms prepared many questions and games to help the students think about this topic in an engaging and fun way.

This was the first time the first graders got to experience the story mom activity. Every student is already looking forward to the story moms coming back to read to them in October.
