SHSID High School Biology Department: Brain Bee Info Session

The Brain Bee info session was held on September 20th in room 125 of the Zhongxing Building. Brain Bee is a neuroscience competition for teenagers worldwide. Its purpose is to inspire young people to pursue careers in neuroscience. In the info session, Tiffany Li, an 11th grade student in SHSID who won the first prize in China in the 2018 Brain Bee, gave a lecture on what this competition is and how to prepare for it. She recommended learning materials and shared her personal experience. The audience paid full attention to her lecture, and asked many follow-up questions. Through this info session, students know how to start preparing for Brain Bee. With so many motivated participants and experience sharing, SHSID is expecting more prizes than last year in the 2019 Brain Bee.
