High School Math: IB Seminar

The High School Math faculty initiated a series of professional development activities for teachers, including seminars on a variety of topics. On September 20th, the international division faculty had their first IB seminar in Xianmian Building. The event was hosted by two leaders, Ms. Liu Shan and Ms. Wu Chen. All IB math teachers, as well as teachers of any course who were interested, were welcome to participate. Experienced IB teachers introduced the teaching outline, IA criteria, and grading, while all teachers present were encouraged to discuss specific cases. This event demonstrated a solid beginning for the IB seminars taking place this semester.
