SHSID High School Biology Department: Blackboard Usage Training

The second SHSID high school biology department meeting this semester was held on September 12th at Room 304, Xianmian Building. The meeting goal is to learn how to use Blackboard---an interactive online platform for students and teachers. Ms. Zeng Qiongyu, who has successfully applied Blackboard in her class, demonstrated how to use several important features of Blackboard, including customizing your course page, making an announcement, and giving assignments and online tests. With Ms. Zeng’s help, other teachers used these features, and together they solved problems that they encountered. For example, how to import multiple questions at once to a test. The meeting was a success, enabling biology teachers to better use Blackboard in their teaching.
