Pudong Campus: Decorate the Campus with Summer Homework Assignments!

At the beginning of this semester, the renovated hallways were already decorated by the fabulous homework of 2nd grade to 5th grade students. The homework shows their diverse personalities and fascinating summer experiences. The 4th and 5th graders’ work expressed more about academics and logic, while the 2nd grade and 3rd graders’ work attracted attention with their amazing imaginations.

The Progress Award——2nd Grade.

The 2nd grade students presented what they attained during the summer in their Chinese projects. During the summer, everyone gained skills or new interests. Some students learned Kong Fu, some learned basic coding, and one student showed how he learned to “drive” a drone. Everyone had an enriching summer.

The Creative Thoughts Award——3rd Grade.

The 3rd graders made a poster titled, “What If I were...,” where they hypothesized that if they were a specific character in a fictional story, what would they do to get a better ending? This assignment highlighted their creative skills.

The Hard Work Award--- 4th Grade.

As the older students on Pudong campus, the 4th graders shined with more academic posters in the hallway. They not only collected several pieces of news during the summer, but also made practical and ingenious Chinese vocabulary brochures. They kept reviewing and updating their “vocab banks.”

The Broadened Horizon Award--- 5th Grade

As members of the highest grade, the 5th graders displayed their colorful and unforgettable lives in the summer assignment. They explored more unknown places, took more challenges, and broadened their horizons. They saved enough energy for the new semester challenge.

The Pudong Campus comes alive with all of the summer homework displayed in the hallways! The students not only show their academic skills through their work, but their personalities and talents shine through, too.
