Grade 10: Project based Learning Lecture

On September 3rd, SHSID Grade 10 students listened to a PBL opening lecture given by Mr. Liao Hui and Ms. Chen Lin. Eighteen PBL courses in total are provided to 10th graders and are categorized into several areas like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics and others. With the amazing showcase of some projects students made last year, students became more interested in the way that PBL works. There are also some practical courses such as, “How to speak like a star?”, which encourages students’ public speaking abilities and communication skills. This lecture has given students a very bright picture of course selection and a positive attitude in learning.
