Grades 9-10:Club Awarding Ceremony

At noon on September 3rd, the club awards ceremony was held in room 120 of the ZhongXing Building Annex. All club leaders from 9th and 10th grade in the 2017 school year gathered at the grand event. Clubs devoted to subjects such as Chinese literature, sports, Chinese mythology, STEM, volunteer teaching, leadership learning, film-making, charity, and music took part in the ceremony. Two excellent club leaders from 10th grade, Wu YunZhi from Thinking Outside the Box and Tina, Mengting Liu, from a Chinese literature club called the ZhengMing Club, gave inspirational speeches. They spoke about how to manage a club efficiently, the obstacles that they had faced during the school year, and the importance of communication and trust between club members and leaders. Their passion and experience not only provided insight to other leaders who faced the same problems in club management, but also inspired many of the listeners. Finally, it was time to give out awards. More than 30 diverse clubs were awarded. Their club leaders, who had devoted much of their time to organizing and scheduling activities, received the certificates honorably and confidently to a round of applause. Overall, both students and club leaders had inspiring experiences at this memorable ceremony.
