Pudong Grade 1: My First School Day

On Sep. 3rd, as all the senior students came back to school, the first graders started their first day of being a primary student. In the morning, all the first graders waved their hands at their parents and stepped into SHSID-Pudong Campus by pulling the school bags on themselves. Although students were a bit nervous facing such a large campus, they fulfilled all the tasks of the first day of school in an excellent manner, as well as got themselves familiar with the schedule. In the morning, students successfully lined up and participated in the opening ceremony under their teachers’ guidance. Later, they enjoyed yummy snacks in the classroom, participated in their very first lesson, immersed themselves into the lunch recess and, last but not least, rode on the school bus to end the school day. After the long yet wonderful day, students all exclaimed that, “We love school days!” As for official primary students, that day would be the beginning of being an independent learner and a responsible world citizen.
