SHSID @ MIT Model UN Conference (Shanghai, China)

On August 24th, nine SHSID students attended the second MIT Model United Nations Conference in China. Our students represented the diverse nations of India, Saudi Arabia, and East Timor. Delegates effectively represented their country’s political stances, delivered innovative solutions, and performed exceptionally among hundreds of student representatives - including competitors who flew in from both France and South Korea. SHSID delegates were assigned to four unique committees, and their performances were well recognized by the corresponding MIT student chairs. In addition to the invaluable improvements in their speaking, research, and negotiation skills, SHSID delegates received the highest possible honor from each of the four committees, the Best Delegate award, as well as four Outstanding Delegate awards. Congratulations!
