Pudong Grade 2: It’s My Day

June must be a favorite month for our students, because the first day of June is the day which belongs to them: Children’s Day! On this day, SHSID’s Pudong campus prepared a variety of activities for them, as always. We started the day with a mini carnival. Each grade had different games for their kids to play, and even prizes for them to win.

After that, all the students gathered together in the auditorium for the annual Talent Show. The kids on stage gave the best performance they could, we enjoyed a great cross talk given by 2(1), and a fantastic talk show accompanied by some lively Chinese music from 2(2). Every performance won a big round of applause from the audience. After lunch, the students and teachers took a school bus to the cinema and watched a funny and touching film. Gifts specially prepared for the kids were waiting for them at the cinema. The kids were so happy. The day was theirs, and the celebrations were their kind of celebrations!
