Puxi Grade 1: Story Mom

On June 14th, the first graders of SHSID’s Puxi Campus had their last story time with the Story Moms. This time, the Story Moms brought a story about a boy and his dog.

The boy grew up with his dog, Aya. The boy would express his love to Aya every day by saying ‘I love you’ to Aya. Although Aya often did something wrong, the boy still thought Aya was his best friend. As the boy grew up day by day, Aya got older and older. One day, Aya passed away and the boy felt really sad. But though he always expressed his love to Aya, he was also brave enough to accept the truth that Aya was not in the world anymore.

Many students have pets at home, and pets are their best friends. This story told students that they should express their love to their lovely pets, friends and family in time so that when the time comes to say goodbye, they won’t feel regretful.
