Pudong Grade 1: Culture Poster

On June 5th, the Grade 1 students of SHSID’s Pudong Campus demonstrated their handmade posters on their passport countries. In Grade 1, the students come from all around the world, including China, Malaysia, the Unites States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom and so on.

After the students learnt how every different culture forms our ‘world village’, they presented some facts about their own culture. Some of them shared the interesting facts about their countries, other mentioned famous celebrities, and there were also students presented the currency of their country. It was an extremely fun class to hear students introduce different cultures from their own perspective. By launching this activity, students appreciated as well as understood other cultures better, creating a much more inclusive learning environment.
