Grade 12: Prom

On June 3rd, the Class of 2018 had their prom at Wanda Reign on the Bund. The 12th graders all dressed up. After taking group pictures, the ASB helpers led every student to their seat. At 6 o'clock, the prom began. Jackie and Dongju’s beatboxing got events rolling in a lively manner. After that, the program of events including dinner, performances, a lottery etc. started.

The first climax was the prom video. The photos about the students’ school lives and words from the teachers moved across the screen. At the same time, they received a letter from their parents. A lot of students were deeply touched by their parents’ letter and the video of their best memories. When the lights came back on, the students gave a big hug to their friends and teachers and told them how they are thankful for them and how they love them. It was such a moving scene. At this moment, they knew they had grown up.

After that, another climax, announcement of the prom King and Queen, came. Tony and Teresa became King and Queen of the year. They went to the dance-floor to lead the others to dance. At last, a photo of the whole grade was taken and the prom ended. We hope it will live in our students’ memories forever.
