Pudong Grade 3: Science Experiment with Dow

On June 4th, the students of Pudong campus explored the world of science with scientists from the Dow Chemical Company.

The scientists first introduced the background and objective of the experiment they were about to undertake. All the students listened attentively. During the experiment, the scientists encouraged the students to observe changes of the materials being used. The students surprisingly noticed that the liquid was changing into a gel, and then they shared their ‘masterpiece’ with their classmates.

After the experiment, the scientists taught our students the difference between chemical reactions and physical reactions by leading them to play a game. The students did not only have an enjoyable time in the afternoon, but also learned very crucial knowledge that will be beneficial for them in the future.
