Pudong Campus: Celebrating Children’s Day

After a long wait, Children’s day has finally arrived. In the morning of March 1st, the teachers of SHSID Pudong division put on cute costumes and greeted children at the school gate. The school had secretly prepared a Children’s Day surprise for students: instead of having lessons as usual, they took part in fun activities on campus!

After taking candies from the teachers at the gate, the students jumped into their classrooms cheerfully. In the morning, not only did the students receive meaningful and lovely gifts from their homeroom teachers, but also they participated in various activities including playing card games, doing science experiments, experiencing VR games, and competing in a handball match.

While the games were different every time, the children’s shouts and laughter never changed. At the end of the day came the talent show, the highlight of Children’s Day. Our little contestants gave brilliant performances that stunned every member of the audiences. They gave performances on Eastern and Western instruments, sang Shanghainese folk rhymes, danced vibrant dances, and performed some hilarious comedy routines. These versatile students showed off incredible talent and impressed us all, bringing Children’s Day to a marvelous climax. The classes rounded off Children’s Day by watching a movie together.
