Pudong Grade 3：Dragon Boat Festival

The third grade students of SHSID’s Pudong Campus celebrated Dragon Boat Festival on May 29th. During the class, the students learned about the history and customs of the festival through the videos and teachers’ presentations. After that, they tasted zongzi, the traditional sticky rice cake of Dragon Boat Festival. Later in the class, the students started drawing cartoon zongzi, and put them all together to make a ‘zongzi gallery’ in the classrooms. Through these activities, the third grade students learned a lot about the story behind this festival, as well as the way it is celebrated.
