8S Biology: Biology Knowledge Competition
8S Biology: Biology Knowledge Competition
On May 3rd, the 8th grade students of S Level Biology participated in a Biology Knowledge Competition. Each class carefully selected 5 students to represent them in this competition.
In the first round, the students were asked a series of multiple choice questions. Each team received their own questions, and there was no penalty for wrong answers. The next round was the lightning round! In this round, the entire audience was asked a multiple choice question. The fastest (and correct) answer would win the team points. In the last round, 2 students from each team were given 3 minutes and a maximum of 20 animals to describe and guess. The student guessing the answer faced the audience and the student describing the animal faced the screen, where the animal name was projected. The student describing the animal had to use any method possible to get the student facing the audience to guess the word on the screen.
The competition was vigorous and lively, and every student enjoyed themselves a lot. The points were close, but in the end, the team from Mr. Martin’s class won the competition. Good work everyone!
