Grade 4: Decimal Booklet

After learning about decimals, the Grade 4 students started to work on a new project: creating a decimal booklet! The booklet had to include a creative cover, a table of contents, and one page for each topic. Topics could cover converting fractions and decimals, decimal place value, comparing and ordering decimals, rounding decimals, and adding/subtracting decimals.In this project, the students also needed to explain in detail how to perform each step of the above topic and include several examples for each topic. We were glad to see so many excellent booklets with beautiful pictures and good sample questions. The fourth graders are becoming more and more creative in their projects and homework.

This project enabled the students to summarize and sort out what they learned in class, and provided them with a good way to review knowledge.
