Grade 8: Student-Teacher Basketball Game

On the 24th of May, everyone gathered on the outdoor basketball court for a fierce basketball competition between teachers and students. After some practice dribbling and shooting baskets, the strong team of teachers and confident group of student-athletes entered the court. The select students and teachers played a competitive game while the crowd cheered for both teachers and peers alike.

The first round ended with a 12:11 score, with teachers leading. Nevertheless, the younger players were still hopeful and vigorous. The vibrant red of the players’ vests contrasted with the pale blue colors of the court and sky as they ran, dribbled, blocked, and shot baskets. Both brilliant and hilarious action made up this match. Kind players gave a hand to the opponents that fell during the game.

“This is better than an NBA match, because it’s funnier and friendlier!” one of the audience claimed.

Finally, the match concluded with an 18:15 teacher win. Congratulations to both teams! You both did a superb job.

After a long day on the basketball court, everyone was exhausted. This fun and entertaining experience will certainly be a highlight in the last few days of middle school. See you in high school!
