A Half-day Visit to Volvo Workshop & Labs

On the morning of May 18th, the second graders and teachers at SHSID spent half of day visiting the Volvo China Workshop & Labs located in Shanghai’s Jiading District.

The Policy Director from Volvo China gave the students a brief but wonderful speech about the brand’s history, core values, and ambitions for the future. The students were really interested in this world-famous car brand and asked many questions about it.

Later, some staff showed the students and teachers around the Volvo Car Workshop and introduced the basic structures of a Volvo car, and explained how we can better protect ourselves inside a car.

The whole visit was so fun and meaningful. It helped every student to learn more about the cars, car safety, and the importance of environmental protection.
