Grades 9-10:Club Fair
Grades 9-10:Club Fair
During CAS period on May 16th, the students of 9th and 10th grade all participated in the Club Fair located at the annex section of the Zhongxing Building. Club leaders settled in the classrooms with their posters, preparing to introduce their clubs to the students visiting their stands. The club fair hosted clubs with a huge variety of interests, ranging from academic interests to sports or even to hobbies such as calligraphy. As a result, all of the students were able to find at least one club during the fair that they found interesting.
As students bustled busily through the corridor, searching for the next stand to visit, it was not hard to notice that everybody was enjoying the club fair, as well as the introduction and the activities that the club leaders were offering.
Meanwhile, in the lobby of the main building, students were gathering around the staircase to watch the clubs’ performances. Club members demonstrated the focus of their clubs to the student audience through speeches, posters, or even a bit of acting.
Through their performances, the viewers got a more diverse and complete view of what the club has to offer for their members, as each performance was met with the reverent applause of the student audience. After watching the performances, the audience all got a say about their favorite club and their favorite performance during the showcase.
At the end of the event, 9th and 10th grade students got a small taste of different clubs, but to have the full experience, the students will have to join them to find out.
