Pudong Grade 1: Career Day

May 22nd was Career Day on SHSID’s Pudong Campus. On this day, two of our Grade One students’ parents were honorably invited as our guest speakers— these were Grace’s mom from 1(1) and Jeffrey’s mom from 1(2). They talked to us about ‘where does money come from?’ and ‘what is architecture?’. In order to attract students’ attention, both of the parents were well prepared with treats as well as interesting content! During the lecture, our guest speakers used beautiful pictures, skits, handcrafts and other attractive means to help show us what their jobs look like. The students listened really attentively, and had many questions to ask about their careers. When this special lesson finished, the Grade One students were glad to come back with all kinds of souvenirs in their hands, and intellectual fulfillment in minds.
