Pudong Grade 3: Open Day

On May 18th, the 3rd graders on Pudong Campus had a special day, because their parents came and joined their fun school day.

During class time, the parents sat in chairs around the classroom and felt the learning atmosphere that their children have every day at school. They listened carefully when the students shared their opinions and participated during class. The parents served as a wonderful audience for student performances in English and Chinese class, and became visiting scientists as they observed their children completing a science experiment. As part of the classroom decor, QR codes were hanging from raindrops. During break time, the parents were able to scan the QR codes and see a video of the students demonstrating one stage of the water cycle. This was an enjoyable activity for all!

After the open day, the parents can better understand their children’s school lives, and so know how to provide stronger support to their children.
