Stallions Middle School Girls Volleyball Team Win Their First SSSA Tournament

At May 12th, SHSID Junior high started the SSSA match for the second time. With the effort of all members, we acquired the first championship in 2018! The three competitors are: YK Pao, Concordia, and KCIS. The cooperation and astonishing momentum of SHSID Volleyball Team helped defeat the rival teams. Of course, we are not very confident before the match, since the other competitors also have adept volleyball skills. Our first match with YKPao is the most exciting one. We were a bit flurried at the beginning. YK Pao outscored us by 10 points, it’s 10:20. Although we fall behind at the moment, our teacher taught us how to stay calm and play wisely. The captain encouraged us to fight! After countless times of spiking, digging balls, and using our intelligence and wit to score, we catch up the scores to 17:23! Our opponent will win if they got two more points. Our captain calmed herself, and unite the team. With the good surves and defenses, we catch up our marks. With the last struggle to win, we win the first match with YKPao! We are very excited, because we have the opportunity to achieve the championship! This is the match with the most hardships and difficulties, but winning this game give us confidence. We receive happiness and experience through competing with other teams. Our winning credits to our teacher Coach Yu. We hope that the SHSID Volleyball Team can continue the endeavor and the attempt to win!
