Pudong Grade 2: Reading Chain!

We had a reading challenge in April and Grade 2 did their part!

This year we were happy to announce launch of the Reading Chain Challenge in SHSID’s Pudong campus. Our students were given a page of book report strips and asked to submit them once they finished a book. The teachers then created a paper chain that wove through the hallways of our school. The students and staff loved watching the chain grow, just as our children’s reading abilities grew. We were able to explore so many genres. The students read poetry, science-fiction, realistic fiction, non-fiction, plays, historical fiction, biographies, and more.

We are so happy that the Grade 2 students participated so enthusiastically and helped build the reading chain! Keep up the great reading!
