Pudong Grade 1: The Charity Fair

‘Sharing your caring’ is always something we want to encourage in our students.

On May 11th, the Grade 1 students of SHSID’s Pudong campus attended their second Charity Fair of the school year. This time, our students were more experienced and fully prepared. For example, several days before the Charity Fair, students as well as their parents were still busy making a huge poster to attract customers.

The students sold what they love and were glad to share with their classmates. Some students brought organic vegetables that their families had planted, while others brought the hi-tech VR glasses for virtual traveling. Countless people stopped at Grade 1’s table and donated their tokens to show their appreciation. While our students were wondering around for another great bargain, they always remembered to sell the items in their shop, giving generously. Through the Charity Fair, the Grade 1 students learnt to use their own efforts to make the world a better place.
