Grade 8: Basketball Competition is in Full Swing

On any other occasion, I wouldn’t believe that there could be so many people on the basketball court at lunch break. But at present, it isn’t surprising, because every day at noon, the eighth grade basketball games are in full swing.

Even the students who are unenthusiastic towards basketball normally are attracted by this kind of blood-boiling’ scene. Listen to the commentators:

"Look! He turns and feints past two people! He jumps and pulls out a three-pointer against the defensive player– swish! In an instant, there’s an outbreak of cheers, stirring the hearts like tens of thousands of firecracker barrels blooming. ‘We won!’ they cry. He’s surrounded by a crowd of teammates, crying and cheering ...”

Who could say no to such a gripping scene?

With the end of the first round, the list of classes entering the second round has been confirmed. They are 8 (1), 8 (2), 8 (3), 8 (7), 8(4) and 8 (10). Hopefully, we can see more amazing performances in the second round!
