Review and Outlook Reference and Sharing

On the afternoon of April 20th, SHSID’s Middle School Chinese teachers conducted a new round of Professional Development-related activities in the New Art Building. Ms Liu Qiong, the leader of SHSID’s Middle School Chinese Department, led the meeting.

First of all, various activities were carried out according to the original plan for the semester. In particular, social hotspot speech contests in Grades 7- 8 and Chinese Culture week activities in the non-native speakers group, which have always been very successful and require advance preparation.

Secondly, Ms Chen Fan and Ms Liu Qiong separately information regarding UWC and shared the curriculum setting, curriculum activities, and features of teaching Chinese.

Thirdly came the collection of Middle School Chinese Group curriculum materials. This semester it will be necessary to collect and summarize the daily highlights of teaching activities, the students' charisma, and to classify valuable educational and teaching materials.

Finally, an emphasis was placed on the orderliness of routine activities, and the summarization of relevant issues in the exams, laying a solid foundation for next semester’s education and teaching.
