Grade 5、 6: A New Home for T-shirts!
Grade 5、 6: A New Home for T-shirts!
Normal07.8 磅02falsefalsefalseEN-USKOX-NONE
Open your closets. Do you see mounds of T-shirts stuck in the corner? Perhaps those T-shirts will be thrown away one day, or just keep occupying space in your closets. But! All hope is not lost. We have a new way to make everyone happy with those T-shirts. It’s donation! Donating old T-shirts helps you to get rid of unwanted clothes while helping those in need at the same time. Some of the clothes will be collected to make shopping bags by volunteers of the Futian Environmental Protection Organization.
During weeks 8, 9 & 10, many students from Grades 5 to 6 donated t-shirts that they don’t wear any more. Some of the t-shirts donated will be sent to Qinghai Primary School and distributed to its students. Some of them will be recycled into new bags.
Before donating, our students were advised to check whether the old t-shirts they selected were clean and in good condition to make sure the students of Qinghai Primary School can appreciate our donation.
The new t-shirts donation campaign is part of our solid commitment to environmental protection. We expect more students will participate in this donation drive next year.
