Pudong Grade 3: Chinese Culture Week

From April 23rd, the 3rd grade students of Pudong campus started their Chinese Culture Week, which included a Chinese singing competition, a dialect poetry recital, a Chinese traditional costume day, and an introduction to tangram.

During this week, the third graders felt the cultural atmosphere and learned a lot of related knowledge. The most popular activity was Chinese traditional costume day. The students went to school dressed as different Chinese characters, such as the hero Qi Jiguang, the writer Li Qingzhao, the leader Liang Zhuge, and the bodhisattva Guanyin. They introduced their characters to all the classes during Chinese Show & Tell, so that the students could learn about different periods and aspects of Chinese history and culture. Learning from fun activities is always a good way for students to learn, isn’t it?
