Puxi Grade 1: Animation Talent Show

On April 23rd, Puxi first graders started their fantastic week of Chinese Culture.

On that same days, the students watched classic Chinese cartoons during Chinese class and personal growth class. And then, they learned to animate their own cartoons with a certain app on their iPads.

The first graders worked hard on animating the characters in the cartoons. On April 25th, the students presented their masterpieces during Chinese class.

We saw a lot of talented characters in their animations. The Monkey Kings had a fine sense of humor. The Mulans were brave enough to join the army. The Calabash Brothers were very cute, while also bravely fighting to save their grandfather. All the characters in the animations were really vivid, and all the students enjoyed the time spent sharing their work with their classmates.

What a wonderful talent show! Through these classes the kids got in touch with China’s cinematic history, but more importantly, they had fun!
