Puxi Grade 1: Story Moms

On April 18th, the Puxi campus’ first graders had their first Story Mom reading time. The Story Moms read the story Bunny Rory to them.

Rory is a rabbit with short ears. He found that it is very strange to have short ears as a rabbit, so he dressed up and pretended to be a dog. When he was playing with some dogs, a boy found that Rory was not a dog. Rory felt sad, and then he pretended to be a bear. But he refused to sleep over the winter when winter came. He missed his bunny friends. After he making a snowman, some other rabbits told him that his snowman is the best in the world. And Rory finally knew that his friends never laughed at his short ears, and he is the best in his world!

This story tells students that to be yourself is the most important thing in the world. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses, and finding your own strengths will make you feel happy all the time!
