In Chinese culture, calligraphy and painting are a result of the same tools. Back in the Tang Dynasty, the ____ Zhang Yanyuan famously stated that calligraphy and painting have the same point of origin, and help to complement and express each other’s meaning.

The calligraphy and paintings showcased in the current exhibition were painted by three of our art teachers.
