Pudong Grade 1: Book Exchange

During April, the Grade 1 students of SHSID’s Pudong campus have their Reading Encouragement month, during which they take part in a range of activities designed to enrich their reading habits. One of the most important activities of the month is the book exchange.

On April 16th, the students brought one of the books that they had already read to the school and used it to swap with their classmates. There were rules regarding the book’s genre, and so the students felt encouraged to read as widely and as much as possible. Every student received their friends’ book happily and could not wait to begin reading. Thanks to this activity, our students are even more excited about reading, and have even better reading habits.
