Economics Week: YBL Challenge Award Ceremony

The award ceremony for the Economics Week’s YBL Challenge was held on April 13th in the Annex of the Zhongxing Building. After fierce competition, first place eventually went to Sophie Ruojia Li, Kristie Yunfan Xi and Yasuhiko Komatsu from 11(1)A. Sol Dong Min, Oh Hyun Taek and Kim Dae Sung from 11th grade got the second place and the third place went to Bei Yiyang, Ma Teresa Wanting and Wu Yunzhi from Grade 10.

The YBL Challenge was one of several Economics Week events held at the end of March. This competition was divided into an individual competition covering economic theories, and team competition on the latest economics news. This competition was aimed at stimulating students’ interest in economics, and encourage them to pay attention to economic news around them, and put what they have learnt in class into practice.
