Puxi Grade 1、3: Precious Moments in the Reading Buddies Activity

During Personal Growth class on April 12th, the first and third graders became reading buddies, enjoying precious reading moments together. The students chose their favorite books carefully, in order to present their buddies with something interesting to enjoy.

Some students sat side by side in the classroom, while others chose to read outside. It was a lovely sight to see them enjoying their books together.

There were several highlights throughout the reading buddies activity. The third graders chose moderately difficult books with attractive content for the first graders. The first graders listened carefully and also got involved in reading along. Class 1(3) and Class 3(3) even finished their own creative stories based on reading a picture book. Reading not only brought them happy hours but also motivated their creativity.

40 minutes passed so fast, but the charm of reading kept everyone there for a long time. The students still were immersed in their interesting stories. Accompanied by their reading buddies, this personal growth class must have impressed them a lot. The love of reading is like a little sapling, growing so well in every child’s heart.
