Explanatory Presentation

On April 11th , the S level English class students gave a speech based on the explanatory writing pieces they have been working on. They were well prepared for the speech.

Many of them brought interesting belongings to present. Some of them explained the process of making spaghetti. Some of them brought their favorite video games and explained how to play them. Some of them made iMovies to show how to take a breath during swimming. For their presentations, the students prepared a lot. Two drafts of their explanatory writing came first. Their teachers helped them to grade their writing. Based on their teachers’ notes, they corrected their grammar mistakes and tried their best to write their final drafts.

According to their writing, they prepared for their explanatory speech. Most of them gave a fantastic speech with good grammar, good vocabulary words and with full confidence. We believe that it will help to enhance their self-expression, and help them to practice their real-life spoken English.
