Pudong Grade 1: Story Mom

The Story Moms came again. On April 10th, the Grade One students were glad to see that their beloved story moms had brought a new story to share with all of them. This time, our story moms started with the students’ familiar clapping pattern, and then introduced a new one. By doing this, the students not only reviewed what they had learnt before, but also became familiar with what they would learn later. In this story, a giant man called George gives out his belongings to people who need help along their journeys. At last, our hero George wins a crown given by all of the people he has helped. The students were quite touched by the crown as a symbol of delivering thanks and showing appreciation. At the end of class they even gave out their own special crowns to the one they wanted to say thank you to!
