Puxi Grade 1: Classroom Reading Campouts

Reading Encouragement Month started on April 2nd. The Puxi Campus first graders will have a lot of activities during this month.

During week 7&8, every class took a Read-a-loud period to take part in classroom reading campouts.

Before this activity, the teachers reminded their students to bring a carpet and a light to school. The teachers first turned off the lights and pulled down the curtain, so the classroom turned dark. The students spread their carpets on the desk and sat under them to read with their buddies. They really enjoyed this activity and cannot wait for the next classroom campout.

This reading activity helped our students discover the fun of reading. We will have more activities like this soon!
