Puxi Grade 2: Mini Market

During Social Studies class in grade 2 at SHSID, all the second graders have been learning about the production and advertising of goods and services. To help the students understand more about the market and products, the teachers thought of an activity called “Mini Market”. All the second graders will be worked on creating their own small business and created their own products. Students worked in groups. Then they sold their goods at the market. The teachers encouraged the students to be creative and use recycled materials and advertised their products.

Every student sold attractive goods such as lollipops, sandwiches, origami, and bookmarks. They also designed many attractive advertising posters and boards. Some students even knew how to do sales promotion by using discounts! This was such a fun and interactive activity, which helped every student improve their knowledge of marketing, goods, and services.
