Grades 11：Global Citizen Day

On April 2nd, the students of 11th grade started their first day of Global Citizens Day activities in the Jiansheng Activity Center.

After an early lunch, the students commenced their first activity, bracelet weaving. They weaved them in a traditional Chinese style to increase their cultural knowledge. Then they knitted some pendants to improve their DIY skills.

Later in the afternoon, the students cooked some Chinese dumplings for dinner all by themselves– an important life skill. In the evening, the students and teachers watched their class videos together, which showed off their teamwork and class spirit.

The Global Citizens Day was a meaningful event that enriched our students’ international awareness by teaching them lots of things about China. They have learned about some of the very simple tasks in life that our modern society often lead us to forget.
