Puxi Grade 1: Inventions and Inventors

Puxi’s first graders learned about inventions and inventors in Week 5’s Social Studies class. Teachers assigned a project, Inventions and Inventors, to students to invent their own inventions to help people in the future.

On March 28th, first graders brought their inventions to school. They presented and introduced them to the class.

One student invented a magic backpack, which can fly on its own and takes the weight off students’ shoulders. One student invented a new spacecraft which can send people to other planets in the solar system. Some students invented shopping machines which can buy things according to people’s needs, without any help from the Internet. And some students even invented time machines, which can take people to anywhere they want according the picture that they put in!

The teachers marveled at their students’ creativity and imagination. We believe that some brilliant inventors of the future will be in our classes!
