Puxi Grade 4: Chess Marathon

This week, the Activity Planner Group of Grade 4’s ASB organized a game called Chess Marathon. In this game, three different teams from each class competed with each other. The contestants ran to the middle where a chessboard was located, and placed a chess piece as quickly as they can within a limited time. The class who first had five pieces of chess in a row, in a column, or diagonally connected them won the game.

To win the game, first of all, the contestants should be familiar with the rules of chess. Secondly, they needed to calm down and make quick decision after a very quick glance over the board. Thirdly, they needed to cooperate with each other. The fourth graders really enjoyed the game. Let’s look forward to more exciting games from the ASB Activity Planner Group!
