Puxi Grade 5: Rope Jumping Competition
Puxi Grade 5: Rope Jumping Competition
On 22nd March, the SHSID rope jumping competition officially began. Fifth and sixth graders participated actively in this competition. The rules were simple, but the games were breathtaking.
There were two categories: the long rope jumping competition and the short rope jumping competition. In both competitions, the students tried to successfully jump as many times as possible.
In the long rope jumping competition, 14 students were picked by their homeroom teachers and sent to compete for the class. The goal was to score a higher score than the class everyone was competing with in three minutes. Every class tried their best, and their achievements were stellar, but there was only one winner. In the short rope jumping competition, five students were picked to compete with the rival classes. Again, three minutes were given. Many got a higher score in this competition, because this one was only about personal skill. The long rope jumping competition required more teamwork in comparison to the short rope jumping competition.
So, that’s it for the rope jumping competition of SHSID. A very exciting competition and an unforgettable memory for us all.
