8th Graders Volunteered at Indigo Workshop

On March 24th, four 8th grade students went to the Indigo Workshop to help the mentally disabled people there. They made soap together with them and communicated with each other a lot.

“To improve our outside, mu must learn from the inside"

This is the axiom of the Indigo Workshop, whose purpose is to help Indigo Angels who have autism or learning disabilities. Mrs. Zhang, the founder of the Indigo Workshop took these members to this classroom and teach them how to make soap. They make soap in the Indigo Workshop so they can rely on their own abilities. The students also learned a lot, for example we learned how to communicate with the mentally disabled people. They followed Mrs. Zhang’s instructions and successfully made some soap.
